Ordinary Love

With no center there’s no ego

No dissenter incognito

No point of reference

No circumference of preference

No bisecting divisions into disparate parts

No protecting positions that all fall apart

No craving of profound unease

No enslaving of proud boundaries

No attachment, like a floater in our vision

No fragment controller of chaotic acquisition

In the clear light of wisdom

We’re invited into rhythm

We allow the tide of kindness to cast no shadows

We put pride behind us to unmask in the shallows

Diving deep in this precious moment

Leaping away from infectious postponement

Inhaling nowness in present moment attention

Unveiling a lotus of omni-dimensional comprehension

When the dancers of danger are traipsing in duality

We’re a destroyer of these creators of mistaken unreality

We clear our mirror for life’s whole show influx

We don’t interfere as the river of souls flows within us

Then death holds no regrets

For the silt of thought has settled

Down into undisturbed depths

Into a silence beyond bedeviled

We don’t stick our neck in the noose

of thought that’ll steal our prime

It’s kept in check so there’s no excuse

to be caught on the wheel of time

If we hoard wealth like honey

We ignore ourselves for money

To blossom and preen like a displayed orchid

Gossip obscene in a masquerade torpid

With broken thought that’s distorting it

So overwrought and daft we’re ignoring it

Until the hail of age, years, and hours

Makes us vail afraid with fear and cower

From the crushing realization of false separation

A clutching desecration of loss and amputation

Our mind whirs with shards and splinters

of thought siphoning attention

But we don’t stir, discard, or hinder

So we’re not caught tightening in retention

A gentle touch is a mental hush

A loving space, a hugging embrace

Of an ecstatic mother to their prodigal child

Organically recovered after being pathologically defiled

Clinging to illusion by clawing to confusion

Spinning in destitution rather than withdrawing from delusion

We stop cease halt all hankering incoherent

We drop release all fault that’s anchoring our spirit

Our nature is boundlessness

Spacious and groundlessness

Gracious with endlessness

Amazes us in beginningless

Wakes us in timelessness

With patience in important areas

There’s vibration’s extraordinariness

From creation’s ordinary love
